Studies have shown that 10 μM of CUDA can block the conversion of 14,15-EET to 14,15-DHET by 94% in COS-7 cells. CUDA selectively activates peroxisome proliferator-activated receptor α (PPARα) 8-fold at a concentration of 10 μM with no affect on PPARδ or PPARγ.CUDA may be valuable for the study of cardiovascular diseases. |
